Two train striking verge by Thomas Taylor

An English gilt metal, paste set and leather two train striking verge watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1750. Gilt finished two train verge movement, chain fusée, finely pierced and engraved balance clock and foot, hour and half hour striking with one hammer onto a bell. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, gilt beetle and poker hands. Green leather covered and pierced pinwork decorated case, polychrome paste set bezel, two revolving gilt discs over the winding holes to the reverse. Movement signed.
