A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless dress watch with split seconds chronograph and register, made by Audemars Piguet in Le Brassus, circa 1910. Retailed by Tiffany’s, a solid plain case, small enamel monogram on the case back, A.S.E. Champagne matte dial with Arabic bold numerals and blued steel hands. Two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minute register, a button in the band to activate the split seconds, the chronograph activated by a button in the bow, and a chronograph locking mechanism in the band. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 22 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to temperatures and eight positions, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Split seconds chronograph with visible work. Dial is signed by Tiffany, case and movement by Audemars Piguet.
