A very fine Danish 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch, circa 1864. A polished case, engine turned front and back, hinged gold cover for the movement. White enamel dial with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Movement with 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with an elongated fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, and large index regulator with an engraved scale on the centre bridge. Case, dial, and movement signed.
