Yellow gold lever pocket watch

A rare Danish, 18 carat yellow gold keyless pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, circa 1870. A hinged gold cuvette, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel Breguet hands.  Split seconds mechanism set on the small subsidiary seconds with an activated pushbutton on the band at 8 o’clock. A frosted gilt movement, 20 jewels, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring. The dial, case and movement are signed.
