A fine Danish gentleman’s pocket watch with Jürgensen bow setting patented, circa 1890. This calibre designed by Piguet Frères must be one of the most beautiful movements ever produced in Switzerland. It has screwed rose gold chatons, a large gold screw compensation balance with blued balance arms and a rose gold regulator hand perfectly assembled by superb craftsmanship.
Polished 18-carat rose gold case, glazed movement, hooded hinges. Signed white enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and Breguet hands. Bridge movement, Cal. Piguet Frères, large gold screw compensation balance.
