A Danish heavy minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch with patented Jürgensen bow setting, circa 1870. Manufactured for the sum of 999,50 francs, with a copy of the Jürgensen records.
18 carat gold case, inner lid with presentation engraving “Newton”, inner lids elaborately engine-turned. White signed enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, decorative hands. Bridge movement, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
