Gold open faced pocket watch by Jules Jürgensen

A Danish important and rare minute repeating gentleman’s pocket watch with indirect centre seconds, patented Jürgensen bow setting and copy of the Jürgensen records, circa 1890.
Signed 18 carat rose gold à goutte engine turned case with signed gold dome, slide for repeating mechanism and patented hand setting device. White signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, centre seconds and gold spade hands. Bridge movement, ébauche: Emile Baud, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, signed, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever.
