Silver early Jürgensen dynasty watch

A deck watch with decentral time indication and large seconds made by the founders of the Jürgensen watchmakers dynasty, Larpent & Jürgensen in Roskilde, Denmark, circa 1803. The high quality open faced case of this watch was crafted from silver and is hinged on both sides. The white enamel dial features time indication at 12 o’clock which has radial Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track with Arabic five minutes and gold hands, subsidiary large seconds for observation purposes are located at 6 and features a black hand. The rare, numbered movement has a cylinder escapement and large barrel. The dial and movement are signed.
