Yellow gold lever pocket watch

A rare Danish, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, circa 1898. Accompanied by the copy of the Jules Jurgensen extract confirming its sale of CHF 698.75. A polished case, co-axial button in the crown for start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph hand, button at 11 o’clock for the split-seconds and re-join, slide at 11 for locking the chronograph and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and concentric red painted fifth of a second index, outer Arabic five minute/ second numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated m, movement, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance- spring, elongated index regulator with an engraved scale on centre bridge. Case, dial and movement signed.
