High quality chronometer with beautiful enamel dial

An early chronograph numbered pocket chronometer of exquisite quality, made by N. Crouille in Amiens, France, circa 1890. The open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat gold and has four pearl rims. The beautiful white dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minutes & seconds track with Arabic five minutes & seconds numerals, a subsidiary dial for the seconds at 6 o’clock and red gold Louis XV style hands. The chronometer movement has an anker escapement, a cylindrical hairspring, wolf’s teeth and a chronograph.
The cuvette is numbered and signed.
