Early rare Charles Frodsham key wind fine precision English pocket watch, 1865

A gold pocket watch from the renowned Charles Frodsham, made in London, England circa 1865. The watch features an elegant 18 Carat gold, plain half hunting case that bears the Hallmarks of London 1865. The original glazed white enamel dial has an outer ring with Roman numerals for the hours, a subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock with Arabic numerals for the minutes and original steel hands. The movement of the watch features an early very fine lever escapement with key winder.
The movement and dial have matching numbers, 03155, and the case, movement and dial are all signed.
