A German 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1895. Sold on 19.12.1895 for 463 DM to Fa. August Erselius, Berlin. Gilt, grained 3/4 plate movement, quality 1A, screwed gold chatons, gold screwed compensation balance, hand engraved balance cock, index spring adjustment, gold anchor and anchor wheel, chatonized diamond endstone, blued screws, ratchet wheels with sunburst. White enamel dial with sunk small second, Arabic numerals and red minute ring and gold Louis XV hands. Plain à goutte case, ‘Lucia’ form, monogram ‘SG’. Dial and movement signed. Comes with a certificate of the German Watch Museum Glashütte and the original box.
