A German 18 carat rose gold quarter and hour repeating musical watch, circa 1817. Full plate movement, cylinder escapement, repetition with two hammers on two gongs, additional musical mechanism. White enamel dial with Arabic Breguet numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Engine turned case, maker’s mark ‘FLP’, small cartouche to the back engraved ‘Am 4 Nov. 1817’.
