An extremely fine Swiss, elegant, rock crystal, platinum-mounted rose-cut diamond-set keyless skeletonized dress watch, circa 1920. The case and dial are made by Plojoux, Genève. A single piece’s of crystal, faceted on edges, a rose-cut diamond-set band in platinum, bow to match. Matte silver dial, annular with applied radial platinum and rose-cut diamond-set Roman numerals, outer applied platinum dot minute divisions, the centre with skeletonized movement. Platinum and rose-cut diamond-set hands. A nickel-silver movement, skeletonized, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with all adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, the dial also signed Plojoux, Geneve.
