Platinum keyless Art Deco dress watch

A very fine and elegant Swiss, keyless platinum, enamel and pearl Art Deco dress watch, circa 1930. Retailed by Spaulding & Co., Chicago. A solid, polished case, bezels decorated with a leaf pattern set in black enamel, case back with initials, pearl-set winding crown at 6. Satiné silver dial with painted black Arabic numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to seven positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Movement signed, case marked with Meylan’s trademark, dial signed by Spaulding & Co.
