An exceptionally fine gilt sterling silver and enamel open faced ladies’ pocket watch with a high-quality watch chain, circa 1900.
American duplex movement. Dark green guilloché enamel dial with applied Arabic numerals and outer minute track, gold Louis XV hands. The case is enamelled on both sides with a light green guilloché front bezel inlaid with gold decoration, the reverse with a light green guilloché outer border, central decorated aqua blue guilloché enamel and gold inlays. Comes with an, at least, 14K gold watch chain weighing about 25 g.
