Pocket watch with pointed tooth lever escapement

A gold pocket watch, made in London, England, circa 1870. The open faced and numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat gold and is beautifully engraved on the back and also has an empty cartouche in the center. The dial has a gold decorated center, a white enamel chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and red gold hands. The numbered movement has a pointed tooth lever escapement.
Case and movement have matching numbers.
