Gold repoussé pocket watch in triple cases

A large triple cased pocket watch made by Grantham in London, England, circa 1765. This watch crafted from 18 carat gold, has a repoussé middle case of outstanding quality with a very rare high relief scene, the inner case has London Hallmarks for 1765 and the protective case is covered with shagreen decorated with golden nails. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minutes and gold hands. The numbered movement has a verge escapement.
The movement is signed.
