A very fine pocket chronometer with power reserve indicator, made by Brillman & Co in London, England, circa 1870. The numbered plain open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat pink gold and has a reeded band.
The very fine quality champlevé dial has gold Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals, a power reserve indicator at twelve o’clock and Breguet steel hands. The very fine quality movement in the manner of Earnshaw has a spring detent chronometer escapement, a helical hairspring and a diamond end stone.
