An English 18 carat gold hunting cased key wind pocket watch made by Lambert in Bristol, London Hallmarked for 1870. The gilt full plate movement with an English lever escapement, plain three arm balance and diamond end stone. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt spade hands. The engine turned case with an insignia on the outer face, a presentation inscription on the inner front cover and stamped A.J.C. Movement signed, dust cover and movement with matching numbers. Comes with a two coloured 18 carat gold watch chain and the original winding key.
