An English 18 carat gold open faced gentlemen’s pocket watch, circa 1810-1840. The key wound movement with a verge escapement. Gilt engine turned dial with black Roman hour numerals, outer minute dots, the sunray center is finely engraved with foliage and flowers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade & whip hands. A plain case. Dial signed, the case and movement with matching numbers.
