An English 20 carat gold keywind pair cased repoussé pocket watch, Circa 1775. Fire gilt full plate fusee verge movement, pierced and engraved bridge cock and footplate, silver regulation disc. Very unusual footplate. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates. Movement signed Wilter London.
White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track with Arabic numeral 5-minute markers, decorative gilt hands. Polished inner case. Excellent high reliëf repousse outer case.
