An English gilded brass and fake gemstone set pair cased quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1750. Verge movement with chain and fusée. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer dot minute divisions, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and Louis XIV hands. A gilt brass outer case with pierced and engraved bezels, the open worked back with decorative, faux gemstone set, foliage and the 18 carat gold inner case is also pierced and engraved. Dust cap signed and numbered. Comes with a key.
