An English  20 carat gold pair cased repoussé clock watch , circa 1750. This watch features a gilded full plate movement with verge escapement, a pierced and engraved balance cock, a flat balance, fusee and chain, and hammers striking on a steel bell to the inside case back.
The white enamel dial has Roman numerals, an outer Arabic minute track, 5 minute markers, blued steel beetle and poker style hands.
Polished and finely engraved inner case, repousse outer case depicting Mars and Venus with chased and pierced scrollwork. Movement signed.
