An English fine gold, enamel, diamond set and pearl set George III pocket watch, circa 1810. Round shaped 22 Carat yellow gold case with case maker’s mark VW possibly for Valentine Walker, hinged case back in Royal blue flinqué enamel (translucent enamel over guilloché engine turned), and case back with, in the centre, inside a circle of half-pearls, applied rosacea of rose cut diamonds centred with a large rose cut diamond. Possibly later gold dial with radial Roman numerals in relief and serpentine hands. Key winding, gilded brass movement with fusee and chain, verge escapement, monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, diamond end stone.
