A yellow gold Dutch pair cased repoussé verge watch with chatelaine, circa 1758, gilt full plate verge movement signed B. Scale, Amsterdam, pierced and engraved balance bridge, baluster pillars.
Champleve dial, Arabic outer, aperture for date.
Plain inner case, fine repoussé outer depicting Diana, suspended from a gold chatelaine depicting Jupiter to the centre decorated with scroll work, Amsterdam Hallmarks for 1758 and marker’s mark W.H.
