An English, very heavy, minute repeating gold watch with winding patent Nicole Nielsen and hallmarks 1874.
18-carat gold case with monogram, hallmarks 1874, and casemaker’s punch A.N (Adolph Nicole Master Mark). Matching numbers 7835 on case and movement. Very fine English lever movement, repeating hours, quarters and minutes; rare winding, patent Nicole Nielsen, main plate signed and numbered. Signed enamel dial, excellent condition, unusual position of seconds register between 10 and 12, the peripheral inscription Prize Medals International Exhibitions London 1862 Paris 1867, Roman hours, Arabic seconds, blued steel hands.
