A very fine and rare, thin Swiss, 18K yellow gold, keyless dress watch, circa 1910. Minute repeater made by Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, made for J. Koopmann & Sohn, Hamburg. A polished case, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed.
