A very fine rare English lady’s hunting cased pocket watch with minute repeater, circa 1886. Made for the Indian market.
English precision lever movement, 3/4 plate, screwed gold chatons, minute repeater. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel hands. 18K gold polished case, spring lid with engraved monogram AB, below the writing Calcutta, and No.863.
