A very fine and rare, hunting cased, 18K yellow gold pocket watch, circa 1810. Solid case, polished, entirely engine turned, front cover with medallion dated 1813. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold spade hands. Movement hinged, gilt brass, full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusée and chain, 13 jewels with 4 in screwed châtons, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, diamond endstone, engraved balance bridge. Dial and back plate signed, case hallmarked, movement also engraved: Patent.
