An English 18 carat gold ke wind open faced pocket watch with start/stop seconds, Chester Hallmark for 1879. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance.
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer minute and 0-300 markers, black spade hands and centre seconds.
Polished hinged case, foliate engraved bezels, start/stop button in the band between 1 and 2. Dial & movement, case stamped E JL.
