A rare quarter repeating English coach clock, circa 1710.
Silver case, coated with leather, sound holes, stud decoration, large lateral hinge, pierced border costly engraved with birds and flowers, oval cartouche with engraved rural landscape, rear bell. Silver dial, Champlevé, inlaid Roman hours, blued Fleur-de-Lys hands. Full plate movement, keywind, firegilt, applied engraved ornaments, signed, chain/fusee, 2 hammers, baluster movement pillars, three-arm iron balance, very finely florally engraved pierced balance cock.
