An early and fine English pair-cased repeating watch, circa 1720.
Very fine signed and numbered complicated verge movement, repeating the hours and quarters on bell. Two cases: outer case covered with ray skin; inner case silver gilt. Rim with a representation of mythical creatures and bell. Signed original and numbered dome. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, and solid pink gold hands.
