A rare 18k gold astronomical keyless lever perpetual calendar clock watch with minute repeating, grande and petite sonnerie and moon-phases, made for the Turkish market, circa 1902, gilt three quarter plate lever movement, jewels in screwed chatons, two trains with tandem winding, cut bimetallic balance, index for the regulator, two hammers striking on gongs, activated by a button in the band, silent/striking for the hours and quarters or quarters only by activating levers beneath the bezel.
White enamel dial, Turkish numerals, outer minute track and fifths second indication for the chronograph with Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary dials for months and leap years concentric with 60-minute register, days of the week, date, seconds and lunar calendar, aperture for moon-phases, case back engraved with foliage and geometric pattern, centred by Turkish crescent moon, movement signed, case maker AB, London hallmarks.
