Fine quality silver open faced pocket watch

A detent chronometer of fine quality, made by W.J. Watkins in London, England, circa 1899. The numbered and open faced case with English hallmarks was crafted from silver. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has an exquisite chronometer escapement with helical hairspring and a diamond end stone.
Case and movement with matching numbers and movement signed.
