Swetman
Thomas Swetman was an active watchmaker in London in the 18th century. Although there is limited biographical information about him, various historical sources and auction items confirm his existence and work. He was active in London, primarily around the year 1750 and was known for the production of pocket watches and clock watches. A notable aspect of his work is that he manufactured watches specifically intended for the Japanese market during the Edo period. These watches often featured complications such as a date display or were adapted to the unique Japanese time system.

Signed: Tho. Swetman, London (movement)
