An English fusee lever with silver dial in a silver open-faced case, circa 1840. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement with  Harrison’s maintaining power. Plain cock with diamond endstone, blue steel Bosley regulator, plain three-arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Silver dial with engine turned center and applied two color gold decoration at the edge. Applied gold Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, and blue steel hands. Faded engine-turned silver open-faced case with ribbed middle. Maker’s mark ‘ILS and Co’.
