A silver verge watch made by Eardley Norton, London, circa 1780. The open faced case of this watch is crafted from silver and has an elaborately engraved dust cover. The white enamel dial has Arabic five minute- and Roman hour numerals and gold plated hands. The magnificently decorated movement has a verge escapement.
Dial and movement are signed.
