An English silver interesting triple cased early silver verge pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, Hallmarked London 1790. Fire gilt full plate verge movement, signed in Turkish text with central pierced and engraved balance cock, plain round baluster pillars.
Engraved gilt dial with red and green enamel floral decoration, eccentric enamel calendar chapter and hours/minutes chapter, both with Turkish numerals, blued steel beetle and poker hands.
Plain inner case, outer with tortoiseshell and gilt metal pin work, the last outer in gilt metal Largest outer case 75 mm.
