Gold and enamel verge in triple cases

An exquisite English 18 Carat gold and enamel triple-cased quarter striking verge pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, circa 1815. Fire gilt full plate movement, key winding, chain/fusee, second barrel for the self strike, two hammers, verge escapement, three-arm steel balance, very finely florally engraved and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with radial Ottoman numerals and gold poker & beetle hands. Gold and enamel outer case, glass on one side, partly pierced outer rim, floral engraved, opaque pink coloured enamel with white and translucent red and yellow champlevé flowers, inner rim with opaque pink-coloured and white enamelling, large outer hinge. The intermediate case is also gold and enamel, partly pierced outer rim, floral engraved, opaque turquoise coloured enamel with white and translucent red and yellow champlevé flowers, the back with octagonal enamel medallion with a polychrome painting depicting a seascape with storm-battered sailing ships and a stranded ship, in the background a city before a red sky, large outer hinge. The inner case gold and enamel too, open work rim, opaque white and translucent red and yellow tendrils and flowers, a central medallion with a very fine opaque polychrome miniature painting in a translucent red enamel frame on the back showing a bouquet of summer flowers on an engine-turned translucent pink ground, the bezel with translucent red enamel border, enamelled pendant and neck, rear bell.
