A very elegant and important Swiss, 18 carat yellow gold and white gold keyless dress watch, circa 1923. Grande Complication Style, so called Murat. Made 1923 and sold in 1938. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute and blued steel hands. Minute repeating on two gongs activated by a slide on the band, with perpetual calendar, split seconds chronograph, 60 minute progressive register, phases and age of the moon. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 35 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with peripheral gold temperature and meantime adjustment screws, eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swanneck micrometer regulator, visible steel chronograph work. Certificate from March 2021. The dial, case and movement are signed.
