A swiss 18K yellow gold and enamel keyless dress pocket watch, circa 1923. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives, sold on September 6, 1924. A polished and brushed case, outer reverse and bezel with black enamel decoration to the gold pattern, the case back with engraved monogram WSP. Brushed silver dial, applied yellow gold Art Deco numerals, outer minute dots, subsidiary seconds and gold spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to eight positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
