Pocket watch with sapphire crown

An extremely rare thin dress watch with a sapphire crown possibly made for Cartier by Patek Philippe & Cie in Genève, Switzerland, between 1920 and 1925. The numbered, open faced plain case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold and has an extremely rare Cartier style crown set with a sapphire. The gilt dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock with Arabic numerals and Breguet hands. The numbered Patek Philippe precision lever movement has a moustache lever escapement.
Dial, case and movement are signed.
