A very fine silver gold observatory chronometer, made by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1923. The watch comes with a certificate of a successful test, resulting in 776 point in the 1er Classe, in an original Vacheron & Constantin box. The numbered open faced plain case of excellent quality was made from silver and gold. The silver plated dial has an outer ring with Arabic numerals for the hours and a subsidiary dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals for the seconds and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has an anchor chronometer escapement of very fine quality with special regulation, a chronometer Guillaume balance wheel and a Geneva striping finish. Dial and movement signed.
