Magnificent hunting cased watch

An extremely heavy and very rare Geneva anchor chronometer and magnificent hunting case watch, made by R. Lannier in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1870. This watch has a full hunter case made of 18 Carat gold which is magnificently and unusually worked and is numbered 15201. The white enamel dial has Roman numbers for the hours, a subsidiary dial at six o’clock with Roman numerals for the seconds and very fine Breguet steel hands. The movement has factory glazing and an anchor chronometer escapement with a very special bishop’s crosier anchor
