Gold, enamel and hardstone quarter repeating pair cased watch

A fine English gold, enamel and hardstone quarter repeating pair cased watch, circa 1770, gilt verge movement, balance cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, diamond endstone, quarter repeating on a bel, gilt dust cap.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel beetle and poker hands, the case pierced and engraved with foliate scrolls and a grotesque mask, the outer case quartered by four polychrome enamel portraits of fashionable ladies, spaced by vari-color hardstone panels, centered by an exotic bird set with jewels, inner case stamped twice with case maker’s mark HT possibly for Henry Cleavor Taylor or Henry Teague, the movement and dust cap signed Henry Long London, colored watch paper printed “the map of a good woman’s heart”
