A fine French 18 carat gold and pearl set key wind open faced pocket watch, circa  1830. Gilt full plate fusee movement with verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silvered regulation disc.
Engine turned engraved gilt dial with black Roman numerals and black outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2 o’clock, blued steel Breguet style hands.
Engraved consular case with pearl set bezels, three colour gold applied floral decoration to the reverse.
