A fine French gilt metal open faced Louis XIV vintage clock watch, circa 1690. This watch features a verge movement. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, markings for quarter- and half hours, and a single steel hand (the minute hand is missing). The case is made of gilt metal and is richly engraved.
