Gold watch with digital jumping hour and eccentric dial

A fine and rare, thin French, 18K gold and champlevé enamel digital jumping hour pocket watch with an eccentric dial, circa 1830. Royal Blue and Gold Flowers by Le Roy et Fils, Horlogers du Roi, a Paris. The case is decorated with engraved flowers and leaf scrolls against a royal blue champlevé enamel ground. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver dial, eccentric polished chapter ring for the minutes with baton divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals subsidiary seconds, aperture above for the hours with Arabic numerals. Blued steel seconds hand.  A frosted gilt movement, Lepine calibre, standing barrel, jewelled cylinder escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
