Gun-metal keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph

A fine, gun-metal, keyless pocket watch with a split-seconds chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register. Accompanied by a gun-metal long chain. Made by Giteau, a student of Breguet, Paris, Circa 1910. Four-body, bassine and polished case. Hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second division, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Steel spade hands. Matte gilt movement with straight-line lever escapement, 18 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator and visible steel chronograph work on the backplate. Dial and cuvette signed.
